abstraction artists
Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky (Russian: Васи́лий Васи́льевич Канди́нский, tr. Vasily Vasilyevich Kandinsky) (16 December [O.S. 4 December] 1866 – 13 December 1944) was a Russian painter and art theoristHe is credited with painting one of the first recognized purely abstract works. Born in Moscow, Kandinsky spent his childhood in Odessa, where he graduated at Grekov Odessa Art school. He enrolled at the University of Moscow, studying law and economics. Successful in his profession—he was offered a professorship (chair of Roman Law) at the University of Dorpat—Kandinsky began painting studies (life-drawing, sketching and anatomy) at the age of 30.

Ola Kolehmainen
Ola Kolehmainen is a Finnish photographer whose exceptional work could easily fit into the abstract genre as we previously defined. He uses architecture as both a starting point and as his main source of inspiration. Instead of portraying architecture in a direct form, he reveals it as an examination of space, light and color, all of which reflect and question our typical, human way of looking at things.

photobook dummy
this dummy book is not the best of condition due to when I experimented with what I van do with wit it may be damaged but it is going on that idea with all the holes going through pages and pages to get a unique but nice book with some of then being able to see three or four photos on one page.
finished photobook
WWW: i made the photos abstract by cutting out pieces of them plus the book goes from left to right not right to left
EBI: if it looked neater and if the what i printed the pictures on was different.

ernst haas motion blur
i really like these images from ernst haas because they all show and do something different like the bikes for instants with the motion blur creates all these lines of colour which create some sort of rainbow effect, the surf boarder were everything around him has a motion blur and he is the only thing in focus, the city scape is different cause i think it is a city scape and i think he used motion blur on a reflection of water which creates a computer glitch look which i find amazing, finally the cross walk which shows like a past time of it creating some sort of time parallel continuum.
what do i need to know ?
- why motion blur?
- what are his other photos like compared to these ones?
- what camera settings did he use?
- how did he come up with these certain images?
- what have other photographers said about his work?
- how many times it took him to get a photo/ how long it took him?
instructions to take a ernst haas motion blur photo
- change the setting to P or tv and change the shutter speed
- slow the shutter speed to 1/30 for a good motion blur
- find a subject that moves or that you need to move for
WWW: the shutter speed worked and got some interesting images
EBI: depending on the moving object you need a certain shutter speed and make sure it is a cloudy day
EBI: depending on the moving object you need a certain shutter speed and make sure it is a cloudy day
refining my instructions
- turn the mode to manual M
- turn shutter speed down to certain speeds depending on the moving object
- make sure it is a cloudy day if sunny turn down the iso to the lowest possible setting
- you might need to move for the motion blur
