introduction to the selfie
for me the definition of selfie is a picture of yourself or with many people with you holding the camera. we looked at a selfie and had a discussion talking about what type of selfie it is and it was a mirror selfie but there was something different with this selfie It was a fake selfie an artist made a fake account and name and pretended to be an actress she got thousands of followers and then revealed it was an experiment. then we talked about how a selfie is an advert for yourself and that people can believe a photograph even it was fake or a lie. then we talked about another image that was a lie about a drowned man but it was just a selfie set up to be a picture of a dead person. but to me it looked like a distorted man with a pale body and a tanned head living in a ally sleeping. then we talked about the meaning of selfies and I said for the first one I start so people know what they look like another one I stole fit in because a lot of people do it and the final one is so they can show there talent they have. couple of questions a set is about how many selfies I take a week the thing is I don't take any selfies for me it is just a way to be popular and to be cool. another question is why has selfies become so popular for me it is because someone famous did it and then everybody else followed because they want to be like that person. now the next question talks about rules for a selfie and if it is okay to break these rules for me there are no rules a selfie is the definition I said at the start and some people think there are rules but if you do break them you are original and not following anyone. for a selfie there are many different types of selfie like the normal one or the mirror selfie there are many different types of selfie but they are still the same a selfie.
our Vivian maier exhibition
the way we curated this exhibition is that we were just talking about what we can do and when we got an idea that we all thought was good we choose it. The decisions we made was first the layout and but we came up with that because she blew up when she died and the photos look like they shattered then we decided to make a frame like it was a box and when she was known it blew up but then we got stuck we made a name just at the end and took long to make the description.
the skills needed to be a curator first is to be creative and unique otherwise it will be the same type of exhibition and will get boring and you also need to have some background making art and so you know what people would like and how to present it.
The most challenging part was coming up with a name because all the names we could think of was taken in news papers or for a exhibition so when sir came round he came up with ideas based on how we set out the pictures that is how we came up with shadows and highlights.
The exhibition was a success with that we all knew what we were saying when we were saying it and so that all folded perfectly together making a successful exhibition.
The thing I might do differently next time is instead of trying to come up with names but to look at the images so that we can set the images in an order that makes sense with the layout and title because we got lucky with what pictures went were when it came to the shattering because the image in the top right was her looking up and that was a complete accident that went well. The title is based on opposites with the colour images and then the shadow images it Was all about opposites which I think we pulled off a tiny bit.

relative found and paid
Mr. Maloof hired genealogists to find heirs to Maier in France and eventually paid an undisclosed amount for the rights to her work to a man named Sylvain Jaussaud, whom experts identified as her closest relative, a first cousin once removed.
the person who took this photo we never see him all we know is that he is a man and wears a cow boy hat and has a hairy arm. The photo was probably not an accident it was probably planned because who would randomly walk about in the streets with a view finder thing for no reason he probably had the view finer thing to take photos and he probably took a lot of photos.
today we were asked to create photos with a view finder.
the photo we did it about.
WWW: we made photos that went along with the idea with the photographers shadow then we got a bit imaginative
EBI: the camera decided to do this thing and it made the pictures blurry we did a experiment that went a bit wrong cause ewe didn't see stuff that made think more imaginative so we just took photos so we can go back but we struggled to make the photos.

obscured selfies
we were asked to take photos but make it interesting with something obstructing the person face
WWW: I made the person in the photos look like he has a very crazy and sad life.
EBI: I could have focused the photos a bit better with that it took forever to get the right focus and that we could have put more thought into the obstructing sense.
a way I could develop and refine with that I could go back out but instead trying to find a mode were everything is in focus.

akihiko miyoshi
this is a selfie/self portrait with that he has made a mirror selfie but also a shadow selfie he has managed to make this with that he has a shutter release to take the photo I could be influenced with that it shows him but another version of him.
other obscured selfies
feet selfies
WWW: I have used a variety of objects inside and outside that I have used to my advantage mostly stuff to do with art
EBI: I could have taken more of the feet selfie outside and find more natural forms and I could try and do some other selfies like the eyes closed selfie and get it involved with the other types of selfies and to make them interesting.

las meninas
the first thing I noticed about the picture is that it is really old, and instead of looking at the main part of the painting I looked at the background. I saw a man at first I thought just was a creepy guy, then looking at the questions on the board I saw that it said picture and I knew that it was a painting. after learning more information I realised that the guy in the background is just a servant because it is a painting of the princess of Spain and the servants are helping setting her up but the painter decided to keep them in the painting and also changed my views that it is a self portrait and normal portraits.

here is my book without the pictures
to make the book I used something called Japanese binding were it just binds the book together
here is a video explaining it
here is a video explaining it
Japanese binding is the most interesting book binding that I could have done rather than cutting paper and making it look lack lustre and make it seem professional.
there are multiple different book binding ways like the the first ever book binging way the kansubon it is constructed with a single continuous pieces of paper the latest form of bookbinding is fukuro.

EBI: I could of added stuff around the pictures that I cut out to give it more of a vibe then just a blank page.
